Ok, now that the Air corps heli crews have been using their new NVE goggles for a little while,including operationally during the recent cold snap.I have only one question.Has anybody besides the crews themselves seen them?Speaking as an NVE instructor i am curious as to what model they are using.Any pictures would of course be a bonus.

Heli crew NVE?
"Let us be clear about three facts. First, all battles and all wars are won in the end by the infantryman. Secondly, the infantryman always bears the brunt. His casualties are heavier, he suffers greater extremes of discomfort and fatigue than the other arms. Thirdly, the art of the infantryman is less stereotyped and far harder to acquire in modern war than that of any other arm." ------- Field Marshall Wavell, April 1945.Tags: None

turn it on- wear it and stow it-
that person is termed an NVE Instructor- a vital function as he serves as one of teh BN NVE personnel-
what do you call the person who instructed you the operating of NVEThings fall apart; the centre cannot hold;

but on that topic- the normal NVE in the AC is managed by NVE Instructors-
and con incidentially they do the same NVE Instructors cse as Infantry SoldiersThings fall apart; the centre cannot hold;

Now that's the dog's dangles! Hats off to all DF personnel involved. Some impressive flying and military disciplines demonstrated there. It's about time the general public got to see what the AC and our other DF elements are capable of in this day and age. Thanks to the DF press office and the ever-enthusiastic individual who produces and endeavours to have these quality clips released for our benefit.....Keep 'em coming gents!
