  • Vampire reunion, Baldonnel.

    Hi all,
    A Vampire Reunion is to be held at Baldonnel on June 3rd, 2010, open to all those who were involved with the operation and maintenance of the De Havilland T55 Vampire (1956-1976)or those who are interested in being there. A history of the type's active service will be given, as well as a static display of Vampire-related equipment and paraphernalia, with the possible appearance of Vampire 191(subject to weather,etc).

    Persons wishing to attend should contact Louise Mc Enerney by email at vampirereunion@gmail.com or on 01-8700111.

          Who is she GTTC

          and who are the body organising this get together
          Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
          Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
          The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere***
          The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
          The best lack all conviction, while the worst
          Are full of passionate intensity.

                    Hi all,
                    This event is tied into the Air Corps Museum, which is much as I know, really. If you ever sweated blood inside or outside of a Vampire jet, ring the contact person and turn up. Simples!
                    regards

                      Not unless you came through the skylight of the regional sitting in one

                        Sitting on my Dads shoulders watching them boot down O'Connell St.

                        Would that get me in?

                          I used to like Buffy. Does that count?
                          'He died who loved to live,' they'll say,
                          'Unselfishly so we might have today!'
                          Like hell! He fought because he had to fight;
                          He died that's all. It was his unlucky night.
