        • Most of the Naval top brass were aboard also.
Many landings and take-offs were carried out. I'll upload a video later on.

            • I'll do a longer one later. youtube won't take multiple clips as one video any more.

              • Apologies for duplication, but this is sort of a big deal.

                  • I always get mixed up. Is the AW169 bigger than the 139? Or Is the AW149 the smaller one?

                    • AW149 (AW189 - Civil version) is larger then the AW139, the AW169 is smaller.
It was the year of fire...the year of destruction...the year we took back what was ours.
It was the year of rebirth...the year of great sadness...the year of pain...and the year of joy.
It was a new age...It was the end of history.
It was the year everything changed.

169 is smaller than 139, the larger of the Leonardo range is:

AW149 (in the running as RAF Puma replacement)
                          NH90
                          AW101 (the EHI Merlin)

                          • So the 169 is basically a bigger A109.

                              • So as per the commission and the need for larger aircraft are we looking at the 149 if we stay with AW?
