    An RN Seaking from Culdrose is currently in Cork engaged in an SAR training exercise with the RNLI,Civil Defence and Local Coastguard units.

    This seems to a reasonably regular event, I've seen pictures of Cork CD boats exercising with helis from that unit in the past

      It was in the examiner somewhere,or else i heard it on the radio,but they were training with a rescue unit based in Ballinhassig. Courtmac Lifeboat was also involved. Nice boat.

          This was metioned on sky news Ireland. Air Corps helicopters going to a army base in the North and then flying on to a school in Belfast with the B.A. It said this was a sign of co-operation and then mentioned a RN heli going to Cork

            Irish coastguard heli out of Dublin also went on a visit to the Isle of man visiting a local school in Douglas.
