The Hawk should be able to break the sound barrier in a dive.

Not a very good line up, and it costs 70 euro for a family whereas the Bray and Galway airshows are free - another example of rip off Ireland!!!!!!!!!!
I went into an Italian restaurant and ordered dessert and they gave me tiramisu and a blindfolded horse and I said No, I said mask a pony (mascarpone)

well don't go then... also the reason for no real fast jets is the confines of the landin strip beside punchestown racecourse.

I'd have to agree - it's pretty pricey alright...

Ha, did a flight couse in the States in 98. On the way there we had to fly through a national gaurd air base air space, who just happened to be starting an airshow. We were called in to land at the base because we wouldn't have been out of the restricted zone in time. Got to see the Blue Angels for free. Brilliant

                    Hi all
Is there family (read kids) entertainment available there on the day? E70 is a bit much, but how much does it compare to the equivalent show in the UK? A word of praise is necessary to the organisers. After all, we now have three good shows per year in a country which was left without after the Baldonnel shows ended. If all else fails, find a nearby hill and bring your binocs. I wonder what they have done to sort out the gliding folk next door?
                    regards

Kildare County Council have decided not to issue a licence for the airshow. Negotiations are underway. A resolution is "expected" this evening.

A licence had been sought and was granted. Unfortunately the licence granted was not for the event planned this weekend.
