Hi all
can a Steyr fire a rifle grenade off it's barrel or can it only use an underslung launcher? Does anyone have any gen about the old Energa on the FN?
regards
GttC
i.ve seen pics of aussie sas with steyr with rifle grenades, but as already posted they probably use underslung 203 types, as you dont need to change gas use special ammo etc,
though the french use them a bit i dont know why maybe you cant put launcher on FAMAS but i can only speculate.
But there's no danger

"Let us be clear about three facts. First, all battles and all wars are won in the end by the infantryman. Secondly, the infantryman always bears the brunt. His casualties are heavier, he suffers greater extremes of discomfort and fatigue than the other arms. Thirdly, the art of the infantryman is less stereotyped and far harder to acquire in modern war than that of any other arm." ------- Field Marshall Wavell, April 1945.
My french is a bit rusty but how do you say on the contrary?
That would be "Au contraire"
But is that issue webbing the guy with the FAMAS is wearing?
Looks sort of like the MARPAT (?) camo the US Marine uniforms are
using....

Those guys are 2rep Gcp commandoes of the FFl.They have pretty much carte blanche to wear what they want.As is the norm for most special forces
