    The cornershot is already in service.

      The flying wing is through the R&D phase and is in use at the moment, there is even a version with 4 mini jet engines, I think it'll be another 5-10 years before we see them in actual operational use though.
      As for the corner shot, the german army as a result of their urban warfare experiences came up with a rifle with a curved barrel which came with a periscope to see round the corner, not sure if it saw operational use though.
