It was rumoured before that some of the only armoured Nissan Patrols in service with the Irish Defence Forces where deployed in Afganistan AO with ISAF, from the second image its not to clear from inside the jeep but from the front jeep the windows seem to have a Dark square surround which would leave you to believe they our armoured they our simiiar to the windows you would be similiar to the windows you would see on the Securicor van any around Ireland.

What your opinion, Just a curious punter here?
British officer: You're seven minutes late, Mr. Collins.
Michael Collins: You've kept us waiting 700 years. You can have your seven minutes.

[As the British flag comes down]

Michael Collins: So that's what all the bother was about.

You could be on to something there. The frame for both the windscreen and side windows does look like they contains balistic glass.

The images are a little enhanced looking. You need fantastic eyesight, and an even more open mind to spot armoured glass on those nissans.

Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.

I didn't even know we had armoured Nissans....
Dr. Venture: Why is it every time I need to get somewhere, we get waylaid by jackassery?

Dr. Venture: Dean, you smell like a whore

The guy with the shades looks remarkably like a Sgt from the Arty Sch.
Can't read his nametag to confirm this. The BOOM! BANG! merchants on the

                EDIT:
It is indeed the same fella, realised that the picture could eb zoomed just enough to make out his name.

                    armoured nissans

The nissans being used by the irish in Afghan are heavily armoured and use ballistic glass, trouble is knowone thought to upgrade the suspension or brakes to cope with all this extra weight and so now they handle like a pig with no legs and they are wearing out their brakes at a rate of a new set every 3 weeks! live and learn i suppose.

Fate whispers to the warrior, "There is a storm coming"

And the warrior whispers back "I am the storm".
