I've been out of the RDF for a while and have received my discharge notice. Would I have to do recruit camp again if I wanted to join up?

Not unless you contact your unit pretty sharpish to say you are still interested, and give a good reason for not attending for th elast few months/years.Last edited by Goldie fish; 30 December 2007, 00:08.
Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.

Fuzzy, if you are who I think you are... (Second name edited?) then I'd personally love to see you back again. We need all the experience we can get in there right now.

Is it titled discharged certificate (I think is the wording)?
- If so that is a discharge certificate, you have only been "out of the RDF" since the date written on it.
- And, if you want to rejoin you have to start the WHOLE process from the beginning - paperwork, security clearance, audiogram, medical, NEW army no, etc
If it is something else, contact your unit ASAP!
