Its a regular thing on the carriers too. Get the crew out on th edeck to spell out the name, or the flag or similar.

The camera wasn't that high off the ground - look at the closest men in both photos. However, this means that they were taken at a pretty extreme angle, and thus while they look fine in the photo, in reality the bottom part of the image being created would have been tiny compared to the top, in order to "cheat" perspective.Comment
