        I remember a time when no salute would be rendered to the reviewing stand when a member of SF was present.

          Maybe they'll put a reviewing stand on the other side of the road, just for him

                    When was that
                    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
                    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
                    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere***
                    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
                    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
                    Are full of passionate intensity.

                      Back when SF didnt recognise the lawful authority of the Government of the 26 counties, or its military.

                        I remember the 3rd Cav abandoning it's contribution to the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Carrick on Suir when they elected a Shinner to the Council back in the early 80s.
