    All allowances are in addition to Basic Pay (most of these allowances are only paid to PDF):

    For example:
    a Pte 3* on the 2nd point on the scale
    €505.08

    MSA (few than 3 years service)
    Allowances
    €42.69

    Group 1 Tech Pay (eg he is a driver)
    € 8.30

    Is proficient in a foreign language (rate 3)
    € 18.01

    On an overseas mission (Overseas Peace Support Allowance)
    € 398.51 (€ 56.93 x 7)

    It is an armed overseas mission (Overseas Armed Peace Support Allowance - Daily)
    € 161 (€23.00 x 7)

    Total = € 1133.59 (Gross before deduction & tax)

                  MSA is equivaliant to "overtime" in Civvie Street.. We get it Home and O/S.

                              Eh yeah I know, but there is no one with all them allowances together..

                              Instructors allowance for example is only paid when you are either attached to a training Unit or your a member of the training Unit.
