Ok. I sustained an injury which involved me going for surgery and getting a bit of metal put in to hold things together. The part injured is fully operational again....still doing physio but I was at the docs today and he said the wire would stay in unless it really had to come out.
My question is. Would I still be able to join the PDF with it in??
Sir I cant find my peltors........Private they are on your face
If you take the wire out you would then be wireless and could sell yourself to the army as a blue tooth device.
ROTFLMAO !!!!
But seriously, I don't know the answer.
A thing to consider is that when you go on Annual Training, when you fill in Part A of the medical
form (the pre-camp bit), if you don't make the Medics aware of the issue, and you subsequently
sustain an injury on Annual Training, then you won't have a leg to stand on (pun not intended
- OK it was ! ) ....
Of course, if you DO mention it, it may cause more hassle than not !
Just something to keep in mind.......
EDIT: Then I read that you are applying for the PDF in the future. Same would probably apply
"Well, stone me! We've had cocaine, bribery and Arsenal scoring two goals at home. But just when you thought there were truly no surprises left in football, Vinnie Jones turns out to be an international player!" (Jimmy Greaves)!"
