I need to borrow a Pliers and a hot poker.

This guy has an appointment with them...

7 day fact finding mission to Afghanistan?
7 days in a caravan in Bundoran more like...

Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.

Have to admit that I have seen some relatively young PDF Sgts in recent times.
Maybe not 25, but definitely under 30

While he is more than likely talking out of his arse, why is 25 such an unlikely age?

What if he started training at 17? That's 8 years service under his belt. !8? Still 7 years service. Then perhaps his Unit had vacancies for more Sgt's, a Standards Course came up and a lucky young Cpl got it.

It really isn't as unlikely as you make it out to be.

                      Definitely a Walt
as a finely tuned detector of Walt-speak,the very words
"fifty cal sniper rifle" set off the shite-detectors!
there's hardly enough of these is service as it is,nevermind enough to be given them to gobshites in Cavan to play with!

Next he'll be claiming he's off to Sudan to test out our very own Land Warrior System

From his 'home from afghanistan' thread...
                          http://forum.travian.co.uk/showthrea...t=20748&page=4

I had just enough time to cock my weapon and squeeze off 20 rounds down range, before some Yank, Full Bird, Colonel decided I stood out carring my AUG, so I had it taken off me and given an M4 Carbine instead... God I wanted to ram that M4 so far up his*bleeping* *bleep* !! Gah!!
My pack has a few extra holes, yes (s'pose that's what I get for turning my back on the USMC...LOL) & my helmet has a few strikemarks on it. Other than that I'm good. Sunburnt, but good!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                          And the best one

I was getting shot at nearly everytime I left the camp...

It's no biggie hon! On sunday morning our patrol came across a Talib mortar position and I took a few incoming rounds into my patrol pack, after turning round to speak to the patrol commander. I then stuck my helmet above the wall I was taking cover behind, so the patrol sniper could zero in on the shooter. My offical kills are standing at 23 confirmed and 3 possibles.

Absolutely quality reading - and he mentions somewhere else that he was getting to Afghanistan via Germany in a CASA.

I don't know. He could be genuine.

                              You are not reading correctly.
He said the USMC were the ones that shot him when he turned his back.
                              Maybe he was running away???

I love his "oficial Kills". He doesn't actually say what he has killed. Deer, Sheep, mozzies............................possibilities are endless.

Without supplies no army is brave.
