The Training directive will not appear until Jan 09, however applications for the 09 courses should be appearing in the Unit Routine Orders in December 08.

best of luck to all who apply. im going for it myself so any tips and guides as to what to expect etc. will be greatly appreciated.

Is the Pot Officer cse Centralised for all the country?

If it is then I can tell you expect no sleep for three days during the tactical phase.

Look after your men on the ground when ye are there and make sure they eat.

Do constant ordinance checks, (I lost something important, but it was eventually found. due to my exhaustion.)

This is really for the Tactical phase I don't know what they did with the rest!!!

Now are we talking about the first year or second year in 09? I thought there was not going to be a Pot Officers course in 2009?

According to OC RDFTA when asked during the summer there is no PO year 1 in 2009.

2009..no year 1 potential course only 2nd year 2008 course and I think even at moment numbers are tight for the South ..I could be wrong I often am
