The ever Disappearing Military Moustache

It has come to my attention of late that the wearing of moustaches (even amonst the female mebers) is on the decline.

there was aday when you would enter a military pots and find some of the finest specimens

Also it is all in deline and the art of posssesing and maintaining a military moustache is a dying art form

has any body else noticed this trait?

I know of only 4 PDF lads in Collins Bks Cork who have a proper well maintained Military issue moustasche. No others as far as I know. All these people have been in over 20 years!!!

Sadly, most military taches tend to look like "porn actor/S.American bandit" types. Also, it seemed to me that some corporals, admin, one or two, for the use of, wore traffic-warden, jobsworth-style 'taches.Officious, bumptious gits....proper taches are rare.

ahhh thats cute barry, we all know the only way you'd get a tache is after drinking chocolate milk.

I have. And I can only think of ONE instructor down there who has a 'tache - and at that,
he's a relatively new arrival to the School !!!

not recently enough mate im on the DROPS at the minute and four of them have taches!!
