    CIS sends regular soldiers on courses all the time to train them in the required technical skills. These competitions are open to all serving personnel. They also have people who get apprentice type training.

    Your military career prospects are better if you enlist/apply and get posted internally than if you go in as a direct entry.

    not necessarily so kermit.Certain posts in the CIS corps are direct entry which means you would already have the qualifications Nov bravo, or for the likes of radio mechs a stint in the apprentices school would be required.

    Alright all,

    new to the board so hello to all,
    I am still in secondary but I am thinking about the PDF as a career and I was looking through the differant corps and was wondering how do you get into these corps , like for the CIS do you need the necessary qualifications or do the army teach you ,

    any help greatly appreciated,
