Are you parading with a unit or are you waiting on a phone call to say your clearance is through?

Have you always lived in Ireland?

Its very simple. all the questions asked must be answered, nothing warrants an N/A and reason for not filling it in must be outlined.

everything is relavent and excat details and dates must be filled in. There is no room for ambiguity.

If its not complete its not processed. simple as .

If you are having difficulties you must ask.

the garda clearance section will not enter into debate all they will do is return the form and request its resubmission.

Yes I am Irish and I have been parading with the unit. Things are only begining to pick up now, I actually just had my hearing test last week.
        "I'm telling a Lie!"
Was that statement true or false?

Waiting time in our neck of the woods is currently approx 3 months (when you include Christmas that isn't too bad).

With all the cutbacks / redundancies ect that this country is blighted with now (& possibly for the forseeable future), there may be less organisations seeking security clearances from the Gardai: will the sec clr process be faster? One of the reasons mooted in the past was that there were so many requests.

Also, with the pausing, postponing or cancelling of recruiting to the PDF (except perhaps Cadets), and as there has been (so far) no stopping recruiting to the RDF,will the issue of clothing to RDF recruits be more efficient?

It's just that when the reasons for delays are no longer in existance, surely the delays should be reduced. Or am I just a grumpy idealist (like Victor Meldrew)?

              Yes.
"Are they trying to shoot down the other drone? "

"No, they're trying to fly the tank"

                  You are too old.

May I suggest you join the ONE?

Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.
