"Are they trying to shoot down the other drone? "

"No, they're trying to fly the tank"

    I have to laugh.

Some of Leinster is in the 1 S Bde area.
Many people who compete in army orienteering comps also compete in civvi comps.
Why then is the 1 S Bde orienteering comp being held on the same day?
You'd think the tit running it would check the dates first wouldn't you?

A lovely morning in Rossmore forest. Loads of DFO there ... recommended.

To achieve this aim DFO maintains close links with Component/Formation
G3, DFAA and the IOA. DFO is a closed club, membership is currently restricted
to DF personnel who have automatic membership
              and are thereby entitled
to participate in IOA registered events
What's the difference between DF personnel with and without automatic membership?

A "closed club" means that on certain people can join (ie in the case of DFO is closed to members of the DF only, another example would be a school where only pupils of that school can join).

Every member of the DF is an automatic member of DFO.

Yes. So get out and run. Several members of the DF are also (in)famous members of other orienteering clubs as well.
