recruitment?

There on Wednesday after the parade the cmdt told r recruits who weren't sworn in that we wudn't b takin them on.. Some had even just finished their medicals!!
We've now only got 10 sworn in recruits >:( Very disheartening for ther newbies

heya guys, just wondering if anyone knows when it could be likely that the army will be recruiting?

Mate I think the frustration comes from the fact that no one actually knows whats happening

on here we have rumour and speculation- even if its meant well.

I suggest you write to your local recruiting office and ask them for the forms

at least you will get a writtine definitive ( of a certain nature) reply

and you will have your name on the list

use this time to improve your fitness and you military knowledge and

use this time to do something positive for tthe community like coach a kids team etc

best of luck and if you get the choice - choose Vikings because its an ackonwledged

fact that ALL other units in the Defence Forces are sexually ambigious

There is only one sticky in the Army and Army Reserve board. The very first post mentions the ban on recruitment. Given the current economic climate there is NO visibiltiy on when it will open up again

That said, give the guy a break.

Everyone here is slightly p'd off with the bans.

A suggestion for the powers-that-be........

When someone registers on the board, could it be arranged that a
FAQ or some kind of prompting be sent out with the first logon
password

Just so that individuals are not initially floundering about when they first logon
and post ?
