    That's good. It looks like a precedent has been set officially allowing us to compete in this.

      Each party needs permission from DCOS(Ops) but it sets an excellent example, well done lads!!

      I did my pots with one of them and have worked with another 3 of them, all excellent NCOs & up for a challenge

        Good bunch of lads - personally know 5 of that group...

          Is nobody going to comment on the beard or sleeves?

          Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.

            Nobody except for you.

            Fair play to those lads. I am sure that they did a good job. And they completed something that is physically demanding and has a tradition of pushing those who go for it.

            So once again, well done to all those involved.

              An army is power. Its entire purpose is to coerce others. This power can not be used carelessly or recklessly. This power can do great harm. We have seen more suffering than any man should ever see, and if there is going to be an end to it, it must be an end that justifies the cost. Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain

                  Never one to disappoint Goldie.A disgrace!
                  "Let us be clear about three facts. First, all battles and all wars are won in the end by the infantryman. Secondly, the infantryman always bears the brunt. His casualties are heavier, he suffers greater extremes of discomfort and fatigue than the other arms. Thirdly, the art of the infantryman is less stereotyped and far harder to acquire in modern war than that of any other arm." ------- Field Marshall Wavell, April 1945.

                    Fair play lads! Good example to be setting!

                    Was planning on going with a team myself this year but it didn't work out due to work committments. Would be interested in going next year.

                      well done all around- its great to see someone

                      who was representing Ireland do so well

                      well done lads
                      Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
                      Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
                      The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere***
                      The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
                      The best lack all conviction, while the worst
                      Are full of passionate intensity.

                          As for accuracy, presumably the missile carries MRVs with terminal phase sensors and guidance.

                            Equalizer being very defensive.

                            Clearly they and "the bearded one" have a thing
