What alot of them do now is just connect a short strap off there right shoulder of there body armour that attaches to the butt of the rifle and when they come into contact or need to take it off for doing certain things they just release a clip so there free to move the rifle around without it getting snagged or being a hindrance.Originally posted by Darksaga View Post

they had a clamp like a carabiner on their body armour - right shoulder side
then they had a short elasticated sling connected to it and the steyr
it made it very handy searching cars and peopleThings fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
