        Whats your budget and and spec requirements - what way will you be using it out in chad and do you envisage you using the tent when you get back to Ireland?

        If the priority is lightweight, well ventilated, but able to protect you if the heavens open I would suggest the MSR Hubba Hubba, North Face Tadpole 23 or something along those lines. US tents tend to be more meshy that UK or European brands, which would suit chad down to the ground (I would imagine) whereas they're not as good for our damp conditions.
