RSU weapon. Not in frontline service yet.

I think it replaced the P90 on Stargate SG1 also....

I think her "weapons" are quite adequate!

ERU carry lots of things, but it is the standard weapon of the RSU.

Curious what you mean by "Not in frontline service yet" ?

The Uzi is still carried by other Armed Gardai, afaik.

ERU would be front line though wouldn't they? DDU/SDU not really any line now that there is an RSU?

The MP7 is in use with the ERU & RSU. The Uzi is still in use in those regions that don't have an RSU yet, so DDU & SDU are still the main armed response units in many cases. The RSU will eventually be rolled out to all regions, the Uzi will be retired at that point.

                        I wouldn't mind tapping Amanda

Back on topic though, I'm fairly sure I saw the RSU carrying the MP7 on the news (in Limerick of course) So maybe its being phased into service and then the ERU will get it?

If at first you don't succeed, then call in an airstrike.

amanda uses a 36 special , its smaller than a 38 butt has the potential for better penetration

Passed through a Garda(RSU/ERU?) checkpoint on Saturday night on the Kilbarrack road.

There stood 2 ladies (or very effeminate men) all decked out in black combats, complete with balaclavas, both brandishing MP7's

                              Very impressive and professional looking.

They took an interest in my mates Mondeo but waved us on when they realised he was ferrying a load of drunken lads home.

Hope they lifted whom ever they were looking for
