You can, but don't expect a course for it.

Attachment in the sense being discussed typically means for 1 year, plus you'll need to

: get approval from own CO
: get approval from LSB Tpt Coy CO [ what does he get out of this ?]
: get on the course in question in LSB, plus other LSB-type stuff.

      turn up as well.

LSB in the south have been reluctant to give courses to "Blow Ins".

I see. I was just wondering because it would be handy for us infantry types to get a driving course done on camp. At the minute im just looking to do the Nissan module. Dont know anyone in transport.

Lucky then koppiteal is not in the south. The east has been a lot more accomadating. Our current blow in count is 7 with 4 pending.

All right the full lesson is

                    as per 1 & 2 above plus
                    - the pupil with the sweets gets to drive until the sweets run out
                    - the interior mirror is only to be used to catch the eye of the young one sitting down the back
                    - during winter months the pupil will have the heater on for the instuctor
                    - the pupil will have the correct radio station on for the instructor
                    - the clean puddle, more commonly known as the pupil, will clean the vehicle
                    - the pupil will know the best filling stations, deli shops, etc
                    - the young one will be given the job of taking down the L plates while the gung-ho infantry type will be given a job more befitting of his capabilities, for the instructor's entertainment
                    - the pupil will have a selection of new jokes for every period under instruction
                    - in between all that he has to pass the curse as well

Is there any extra earning potential in the RDF once you've passed a driver's course?

You can earn yourself a lot of time as the duty driver, if that counts.
