"Well, stone me! We've had cocaine, bribery and Arsenal scoring two goals at home. But just when you thought there were truly no surprises left in football, Vinnie Jones turns out to be an international player!" (Jimmy Greaves)!"

You also have wear CBA now doing the plates comp.Tougher again!"Let us be clear about three facts. First, all battles and all wars are won in the end by the infantryman. Secondly, the infantryman always bears the brunt. His casualties are heavier, he suffers greater extremes of discomfort and fatigue than the other arms. Thirdly, the art of the infantryman is less stereotyped and far harder to acquire in modern war than that of any other arm." ------- Field Marshall Wavell, April 1945.

What ceremonial rifles??
Wait.Dont tell me they are planning to have a pool of them in the DFTC for units to draw for ceremonial occasions??
One snag with that master plan,if that what they are thinking, how are we supposed to teach the arms drill at unit level during recruit training or normal day to day activities??Will we have to go all the way to the DFTC every time we need to do AD??"Let us be clear about three facts. I said it before here. You wont be able to do the new arms drill with the upgraded rifle(new sights,no folding barrel grip). All it takes is for 100 old barrels and housing to be left in each unit and problem solved.Perhaps enough chromed bayonets to kit out a quarter guard but taking 100 combat bayonets off a unit to chrome them would be excessive and wasteful.
jesus is there no joined up thinking in this Army!"Let us be clear about three facts. First, all battles and all wars are won in the end by the infantryman.
