That's the same as our system in the DF, if you want 7 days off, including a weekend, you must take 7 days annual leave. Thankfully the post deployment leave is classed as recuperative leave and as such is sacred. As for rumours of mid deployment leave being part of annual leave from now on, we are way into ball-hop territory here!
I don't start the ball hops, I just try find out if they're true or not. It's something I've heard from a few people at this stage. No smoke without fire and what not.
