I do think the Glengarry is wrong as COS as his Corps is now the Army as a whole as apart to a seperate section.
While his peaker is the same as normal, so should his lanyard, again he retains his lanyard. Should DF HQ not have their own lanyard as they do flash and then if so isn't standardized headgear appropriate while in all forms of uniform and regardless of rank shouldn't the COS be obliged to comply.
I know there is probably a certain 'one up manship ' coming from the Cavalry but point made get over it and conform as did the forebearers of the job.
