Will be there. Was good craic last year, so looking forward to it again.

Question: Hearing two schools on this - are they paid days?

Heard they are. Then heard not if you have your 7 days done this year.

              Which one is it?

it is paid for E Bde anyway. We have no restriction on +7 days; this only becomes an issue for 42 days or over, there are very few at that limit.

been talking to a number of lads from different EBde units.
Some have been told that unless they are available for Friday AM start they will not be required.

Now for my unit, we were told no prob coming Friday evening but you'll only get 2 days pay.
However we usually have some additional non drivers pers on hand
but these were told their services were not required.

Very unusual that - usually will be odd jobs requiring any spare available bods
                        - unless these have been requested specifically from other designated units ?

well there seems to be a "severe" restriction on numbers. If you are not essential to the ex then you are not to come.

Someone from one of the corps units got the impression that there was too many Ebde on the assessment or more accuratly, too many "non-essential" corps pers. Maybe as you say the lads from the other Bdes have the tasks covered.

I suppose we will soon find out.

W Bde is the lead Bde so I presume they have to provide most of the logs admin.

The situation with us is, there is a cut off time in the early afternoon (to qualify for 3 days pay) and a second one in the evening (to qualify for 2 days pay) after that we probably won't be there so don't turn up.
