    Swedish, seems pretty effective, at least in black-and-white!

    very nice, however i'm hoping the optics and the soldiers hand have deliberately been left un-camouflaged or it's a waste of time.

      Good thread

      nearly didnt see it.
      Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
      Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
      The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere***
      The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
      The best lack all conviction, while the worst
      Are full of passionate intensity.

            The Canadians tried something like that a while back as far as I recall...http://www.mpmuseum.org/securuniform/boots/twboot1.jpg
            I knew a simple soldier boy.....
            Who grinned at life in empty joy,
            Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
            And whistled early with the lark.

            In winter trenches, cowed and glum,
            With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
            He put a bullet through his brain.
            And no one spoke of him again.

            You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
            Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
            Sneak home and pray you'll never know
            The hell where youth and laughter go.

              Whats the point if they'll be covered in mud and dirt? The pattern would be covered up.

                    The boots in the link were trialed last year, and I believe the cam patten has already been dropped; the CDN BG in AFG is now wearing a Coyote Brown version of that boot.

                    I think we are going to Coyote Brown for both the lightweight combat boot and cold-wet-weather combat boot, to be worn with both temperate and desert uniforms.

                      i know we are pioneers of camouflage but i can't see the British Army being issued with camo boots anytime soon.

                      mind you - i never thought i would see the day when i was issued with camo shorts.
