The old 11thS&T flag has been paraded a couple of couple of times since being stood down but i don't have a clue of the protocol on such things.
But AFAICR we used the old flag until it was replaced even though it was stood down.

at that point...

A lad I know via on-line communications recently posed the following comments:
A question, all the old FCA / RDF flags are stood down and the RDF
have new flashes, so why on Paddy's day in cork city have the
military police RDF carry flags that are stood down I cant understand it.
