If anyone is interested Google Maps / Earth have recent;y updated the images of Co Wicklow area. Terrain Analysis of the Glen area will never be the same again :-)

Cool. In my civvie life, I have at my fingertips the full survey-quality 3D model for Dublin (some 2D mapping for Wicklow), plus the software - including some dual-use that the US Army also employs - to "do stuff" with it.

Some developments in the works (INSPIRE) may allow me to utilise all this on the DF side some day

if only Google Earth could work out PPA it would be a life saver!
