The term "hours" used to calculate minimum voluntary attendance for effectiveness bears no relation to actual time. Under this method a parade night is 2 hours, a field day is 4 hours and an overnight is 4 hours, a weeks FTT is considered 24 hours.

In FCA days you needed 24 "hours" to be effective and 48 "hours" to get your grat.
