  • Internation Falling Plates

Was browsing the liberary of UCC today and came across the collection of An Coisantoir there, so as per usual I got side tracked. I came across an series of articles and photos of a competion held by the DF in the Curragh, where several armies sent teams to take part. Can anyone here shed anymore light on the matter. Some good photos there I have to admit.

Thanks for the vote of confidence jpb but I wasn't on the FP team then. There were two international comps as far as I can remember. I think the Gurkhas won the second. I remember the lads saying that the Yanks were the most catastrophically bad shots they ever saw. After two minutes of fruitless shooting someone in the audience advised them to call in an airstrike.:D

A former member of the board, before the big crash, was on the 95 team. I'll try to get him to re-register and tell the story.
