The army has chest rigs but they are not on general issue in Ireland.
If the army issues DPM webbing it would make more economic sense to issue everybody with it rather than buy different types. I doubt that finance branch decides to buy different gear to make the RDF feel small. All the OG stuff is nearly worn out anyway.
I bought my DPM patrol pack in Protac because it's better than the s***e rocket pouches.sigpic

Who ever said anything about them buying the RDF anything. They will most likely just hand us down the old stuff when they get DPM webbing.
