and finally any advice on how the categories of Novice, Intermediate etc ... map into the civilian orienteering colour-coded categories?
The Red civilian course is pretty similar to a novice RDF Orienteering course. The green would be Intermediate and Blue would be senior.
And one more thing, from my experience to move up a level you have to come first or second in an all army event to move up to the next category.
Does anyone know the details of either the 2EB competition (on 23 March) or the All-RDF competition (on 13 April)?
The sort of questions I have are:
(1) Can you enter individuals as well as teams?
(2) Must you compete or win at Brigade level to compete at All-RDF level?
(3) How and when do you enter both the EB and All-RDF competitions? I presume my unit will get notification.
(4) Will accom be provided in the West for the All-RDF?
and finally any advice on how the categories of Novice, Intermediate etc ... map into the civilian orienteering colour-coded categories?
