there is an intelligence function in all western armies at battalion, brigade and army level, which gathers and disseminates information for use by commanders in making decisions. Nixon in Band of Brothes was the battalion int officer for example.Comment

G2 is a section of DFHQ, there are Bde/NS/AC Intelligence section & each unit has a Intelligence officer

Officer's, BSMs, and BQMSs SD No1 are purchased by the individual from a civilian tailor for which they receive an initial & annual uniform allowance.Comment

what would be an officers job in a barracks on a run of the mill day..
i know this is broad and depends on degree got and posting but does he spend the day filling out forms behind a desk? or giving lectures on admin and tactics?
