Jaysus lads, McKee is being invaded by Somali technicals..............

I think the choice of weapon was correct - good job they didn't go with the Barrett, it's not v. reliable.....

                Sniper Rifles

Just trying to settle an argument in my gun battery does anyone KNOW how much the army paid for their accuracy international sniper rifles? one gnr says €18,000 each but seen as they still have 25pdr.s that they got in the 50's for free everyone seriously dbouts his info. cheers

My advice to you is to Google Accuracy international rifle for sale.

see what they are selling for in the open market.

Then come back to us with the answer, and you can be sure what the army paid wasn't much different.

There's dealers in the uk selling them for around £3000. Don't know if that's new or not though.

A member of the ordnance corps was consulted, and it was discovered that the army did not pay anywhere near 18000 per rifle. coffee persists.
