Without wanting to get into the operational details, a question: Does the Army have a role in providing security for the President of the Republic or is that exclusively the role of the Garda? Given she is the formal head of state, I was wondering did that provide any special role for the Army beyond the ACP role in support of Garda operations. Again, not looking for operational details, more of a general question. Cheers,
