  • Mandays

Does anybody have any information about the restriction on mandays per year, i.e 42 days. Is it going to be removed, so that people who are in a position to do more camps than currently allowed, can?
Is it possible for a reservist to apply for more mandays himself somehow??
Regarding future changes to the reserve, I will believe it only when I see it and experience it after my own personal experiences in the reserve....

When people stop needing to be told,we will stop saying it.

RE: The 42 day limit does not include days devoted to barrack duties etc

it does, according to the Bde HQ, but any duties you do will not interfere with your WEEK's camp entitlement, it's a grey area

However if you are doing duties in barracks you are paid as annual training....

Absolutely no need to apologise. I like to air that old line every now and then.
