Why do some people when they are tactical turn their rank markings around?

It is so if there was a sniper watching the section etc, he in theory should not know who the IC & 2IC is etc.If your not in bed by 4 o' clock it's time to go home!

First person to shot = radio operator
Second = next person to pick up radio = commander (eg Pln Comdr)
Third = next person to pick up radio = 2 i/c (eg Pln Sgt)
and so on .....Comment
