There's also the Osprey book on the DF.

The FCA Uniform did not follow the same history as that of the PDF,I cant remember specifics right now,but there are a few books about detailing peoples personal experiences in the LDF and FCA that tell a lot about the uniforms...

Thanks Folks, We hope to hold a function in April to mark the re-org as it coincides with a change of location for a centre here as well. We hope to display all the uniforms and equipment used by the FCA during that period and we want to get it right as there is always someone who will tell you, ' we did not wear that. or we did not wear it like that' Goldie if you think of the name of these books could you post them here
        thanks

How about trying to find old photos of the various uniforms and posting them. There must be plenty knocking around in various people's drawers at home.

Give Military archives a ring. Or the museum in collins barracks, they are having a big defence force exhibition this year I think.

Bullswool batallions is one. The Museum Curator in Collins Barracks,Comdt Dan Harvey,is quite helpful in these matters.
