    The dpm is many things,but it is in no way suitable as a parade uniform in its current form. Perhaps a compromise would be the return to OG shirt, Staple belt worn outside Green Pullover with full colour Rank and unit insignia,similar to that seen in the UK?

    I'm sure R&S knows what I mean? I think Most TA units use this as a "ceremonial" uniform,in the absence of No1 or No2 dress.

    Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.

      we may as well adapt the best of the British uniforms- anyone see the sash that senior NCO's are going to be wearing- the east looks ok but those lads in the DFTC with the yellow traffic warden one, well once i stopped laughing my heart went out to them

      NOT
      Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
      Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
      The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere***
      The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
      The best lack all conviction, while the worst

          Well a beret is hardly the most sensible of apparel,may as well go the whole hog and wear a sash too(remember its not long since they ditched the cravat).

          Methinks Military "Camp" has a whole new meaning.

                        Due to the change in A10- Funeral ceremonial, there could be a much higher demand for SD1s in the RDF.
