The dpm is many things,but it is in no way suitable as a parade uniform in its current form. Perhaps a compromise would be the return to OG shirt, Staple belt worn outside Green Pullover with full colour Rank and unit insignia,similar to that seen in the UK?
I'm sure R&S knows what I mean? I think Most TA units use this as a "ceremonial" uniform,in the absence of No1 or No2 dress.

we may as well adapt the best of the British uniforms- anyone see the sash that senior NCO's are going to be wearing- the east looks ok but those lads in the DFTC with the yellow traffic warden one, well once i stopped laughing my heart went out to them

Well a beret is hardly the most sensible of apparel,may as well go the whole hog and wear a sash too(remember its not long since they ditched the cravat).

do rdf females get the underwear allowance that PDF females do
i forgot to say as part of the new look there is peak caps coming in as well for ceromonial duties

Due to the change in A10- Funeral ceremonial, there could be a much higher demand for SD1s in the RDF.
Does that mean we're going to get them??
