Ah yes, but who would want to be a mere Colonel? They don't get their own car and driver not to mention the mansion complete with man servant (mildly retarded NCO useless for any other purpose) that a Brigadier General gets and there's two ranks above Brigadier General....I wonder what extra little perks they get - probably a great big sand table so they can plan movements of all their non-existant divisions of troops and a staff to move the little soldiers and toy tanks around upon command. Then of course they would need somebody to bring the tea and biscuits (vital in any command center). Finally, they need a whole gaggle of junior officers who would look up to them and treat them like a God because they own the sand table and all the toy soldiers and tanks and stuff. I wonder if they let the American fella' who was over last week play with the sand table....Apparently, he had some time on his hands since the appointment with the minister was cancelled.Comment
