almost certain it’s on the 451
GOC recommendation would imply he will seek unit OCs recommendation first

Thanks for that.
Interesting that there is no longer a requirement for unit RDF OC to recommend one of his officers for promotion. Why was that done away with?

Last RDF Pot Offrs Cse had former infantry NCOs & Ptes commissioned into other corps including Tpt, MP, Cav,

Once you are an (actual) graduate (as in you at least have your results) no issues applying.
not sure about locations of vacancies though
did you see post 2 ?

I'm not sure if they same type of thing applies to RDF commissions. In this case, I'm assuming they are not in an engineering unit, so therefore can they be commissioned into an rdf engineering unit?

Only thing I'm not sure about is you might need to be an existing member of an engineering unit to get the commission. Someone else hear might be know better as I don't yet have a current copy of new R5. If your a member of RDFRA you can contact them and you can ask your unit.

In 1Bde, the RDF engineering unit has not trained in the last few years. Ditto for the medics and PAs.
