  • Confusion....

I'm a bit cofused.....the RDF news letter...the back of it gives the unit flashes but says that the RDf units are part of the 1st Southern Brigade...the unit designatiors 31...32....33....etc were meant to reflect that the units are part of the 3rd southern brigade RDF
As the 1st Southern Brigade is the PDF desigantion for themselves...the original concept was supposed to be 3rd brigade...1st Cav reserve in our case......

can anybody clarify this issue please....?

Or is the RDF news letter wrong?
Covid 19 is not over ....it's still very real..Hand Hygiene, Social Distancing and Masks.. keep safe

Correct, it was changed the week before the change over as they realised their would be a need for more "General Staff" for the extra Brigade's.

Well I do agree that we do not need 3 extra Generals, we have enough as it is.

Maby Units asked members to design and as Sgt Bilko Knows I designed a far better flash for our new amalgamated unit with both counties colours but I reckon the design is in the bin.
Typical of the army authorities F*** the reservists we will get more senior appointments,we are luckly they have not the neck to introduce a Full General or a Field Marshal.

Its a lot like the Air Corps having more squadrons than aircraft...
Perhaps the structure is in place to expand the reserve formations into 3 extra brigades in time of "emergency?"

Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.
