Actually the rumour has it (at least one of the many rumours in relation to this uniform I have heard over the past 5 years) that the cap will issued on a pool basis for all (i.e. RDF and PDF). However on that basis the rumour also has it that:
1. Berets will be Corps colour co-ordinated.
2. Different units will have cocquettes (?)...those feathery things.. in their berets.
3. A sash will be worn by CS's and Sgts Major, the colour to be determined by brigade.
4. Also lanyard colours will be a brigade colour.

RDFRA is responsible for logs now? Has there been some change in the structure of the reserve defence forces that means the responsibilities of clothing, equiping and welfare of the troops is no longer the responsibility of commanders and is instead been assigned to RDFRA?

Ì am led to believe that a new No 1 uniform on the style of the Officers pattern uniform is to be introduced in September with a Peak Cap ! Anyone any information?

This may be introduced to the reserve aswell, if only to source the new uniform from the one supplier. As for the caps, well they may come on stream if RDFRA get off their butts and do something about it. Eitherway I won't get a new cap, unless I transfer back to infantry
