  • Civilian Jobs Not Acceptable To The RDF

Does anyone know which civilian jobs prevent a person from joining the RDF? I believe you cannot be in the RDF and the Gardai at the same time.
    I'm not a number, I'm a free man.
    Who is number 1?

SO in theory there is nothing to stop a Sinn Fein Councillor enlisting

but a statute ground for inelligibility is membership of that really dodgy body the RDF

Yes but would he be granted security clearance? (remember it now goes via the Bde Intelligence Officer), the membership of the RDF thing means you can't join again if you are already a member.

I think you need your eyes tested hedgehog, just cause she is an easy slapper who shows leg on the late late show, does not at all make her attractive.

(these are the views of this poster, who frankly, found Ms. Ferris revolting and slightly comical)
What are you cackling at, fatty? Too much pie, that's your problem.

Just looking it over and noticed nothing refers to the spanking new Garda Reserve. So someone could join both organisations?

Is there anything in Irish statute that supports that? The legal dictionary definition of 'civilian' is 'non-military', though some of the American general dictionaries have started to exclude police in 'civilian'. (which begs the question over 'what are they?')
