  • Position of Flash on No. 1's

Stupidly I never asked (or was told! ) what the exact position of the shoulder flash's are and rank markings on the No. 1's?

Also are there collar badges for enlisted personnell?

Regs say 1 in. 2 fingers is the same. The big thing is to centre the flashes and have them pointed straight down when at the position of attention.... not as easy as it sounds.

Collar badges are a corp item. All ranks within that corp will wear the same ones. You are Infantry, your corp badges are crossed rifles.

Ahhh this brings back memories!! The hassle this caused coming up to the easter parade! Just as a matter of interest...can any of you rules+regulations bandits please tell me at which angle the crossed rifle collar pins should be worn at? Some argued for straight and others say diagonal (butts facing toward bottom corner of collar).

Not everyone has officer pattern lapels on their No.1's, Kermit.... : )

The latter is correct, Duffman, in the case of an Other Ranks tunic.
