  • Photographs of Naval Service Pre 1990

Hi all, recently I have undertaken a project to compile a database of any / all old and new photos of the Naval Service through the years. Particular interest to Pre 1990 or preferably 1995 as the N.S. Photo section went digital shortly after. as well as posting I would like members to E-Mail me the full size files and description / names of featured persons places and ships for catalog. All I.M.O. members will have access to this database when completed. Ask and you shall recieve.

    Gratefully, armedboarder.

I have a scan of a photo of PF20 (yes) at sea somewhere.

out of interest, the fellow on the back left(as you look at the picture) has some sort of pin on his chest. What is it?
What are you cackling at, fatty? Too much pie, that's your problem.

Its two badges. One is a Fainne Nua (people got it if they spoke Irish so I was told) The second badge appears to be a Pioneer pin.

Both of which can be worn while in uniform...

Sorry about the qaulity. The original photo is in a BIM book that I have (somewhere).

The second photo is probably dated around 1994.
